It depends on the complexity of the case. Some matters can be resolved pre-litigation (without filing a lawsuit), and some require an action to be filed in court. Often, pre-litigation matters can be resolved quicker. Cases where a lawsuit will be required will take longer and largely depend on the county in which your case will be filed.
